On 7 November 2008, Home Nursing Foundation organized the inaugural HNF Charity Golf 2008. Despite the global financial crisis, more than $130,000 was raised to help fund the operation of the Foundation.

Held at the Clementi Swimming Complex, the Singapore Book of Records for the most number of laps swam in 6 hours was broken with an astounding 14,159 laps swam!Broke The Singapore Book of Records by more than 100%!
