“Compassion runs in my blood. Giving is a habit to me.”
So says Mdm Mynavathy Goorusamy.
Mdm Myna is 79 years old, works as a cleaner and takes home less than $1,000 monthly.
Yet, for the last four years, Mdm Myna has been donating $30 monthly to Home Nursing Foundation (HNF). This is equivalent to giving us one dollar daily. For a low-income earner like her, $30 a month is a lot of money. But her precious donation of $30 can help HNF sponsor five wound-dressing requisites.
Mdm Myna is not our patient. However, she understands and identifies with HNF’s mission in the community. She gives so willingly because she believes in the value of helping the needy elderly sick. With compassionate donors like Mdm Myna, HNF is able to provide the most affordable and high-quality home nursing services for needy elderly suffering from chronic illnesses. Be inspired by Mdm Myna’s example and help us contribute to the needy aged sick.
Make giving a part of your life.
The contributions that we receive from your kind and generous heart are channelled towards our beneficiaries and used to subsidise the cost of the home nursing services. On behalf of our staff and beneficiaries, thank you for being there for us. Your donation has enabled us to serve the needy elderly sick all these years.
