35th Annual General Meeting Notification

The 35th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Home Nursing Foundation (HNF) will be held virtually via Zoom on 24 August 2020 at 4.00 pm.

In view of the imposition of social distancing measures by the Government to control the community spread of COVID-19, the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) (Alternative Arrangements for Meetings for Charities, Co-operative Societies and Mutual Benefit Organisations) Order 2020 was passed by the Ministry of Law to allow for the deferment of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) to a date no later than 30 September 2020 and for the meeting to be held electronically.

Members will not be able to attend the AGM in person but do so by observing and listening to the proceedings of the meeting by electronic means. An AGM notice package will be emailed to all HNF members by 10 August 2020. If you had not registered your email address with HNF or received it by its stated date, please call 6854 5555 or email: enquiry@hnf.org.sg.

As electronic voting is not specifically provided for under the HNF constitution, all members will need to register their vote for each of the agenda items by appointing the Chairman of the AGM as the proxy. The proxy form will be sent as part of the AGM notice package, members are required to submit the completed and endorsed proxy form, as instructed in the package, no later than 21 August 2020, 4:00PM.

Members may submit their enquiries to enquiry@hnf.org.sg. Enquiries should reach HNF by 14 August 2020. Questions received after the stipulated date will not be entertained.

All substantial and relevant questions will be addressed by the Management team or the Board of Management prior to the Annual General Meeting. Questions that concern a matter that will be put to a vote will be addressed by the Board of Management before the closing date for the lodgement of proxy forms. Such questions will be addressed via the HNF website.
