Job Responsibilities

The healthcare assistant is required to: 

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the centre and equipment.
• Provide incidental housekeeping duties such as cleaning and clearing of spillage, body discharges under supervision
• Assist with ordering of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Assist in meals set up for clients and safe preparation of food under supervision
• Washing up of dishes and cleaning the premises after meals
• Escorting clients between centres or to other destinations or for outings with or without transport whenever requires
• Assist in medical emergencies and procedures
• Observe confidentiality of information in relations to the centre and the occupants.
• Assist to maintain the centre’s clinical supplies, equipment and inventory when requires
• Compliance to training when requires

Job Requirement

• Min. WSQ Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing Care)
• Min. 1 year experience in healthcare will be advantageous
• Experience in working with elderly settings will be advantageous
• Willing to work staggered shifts according to centre operating hours
