No Mountain Too High

Dr Kumaran Rasappan, Senior Resident in Orthopaedic Surgery under National Healthcare Group is the first Singaporean to scale the heights of Mount Everest in May 2012 in support of a charitable cause. This year, he will set his feet on K2 and Makalu, the world’s second and fifth tallest mountain in the world between June to December to raise funds for charities, including HNF. Through the six-month expedition, Dr Kumaran hopes to raise at least $50,000 for HNF to support HNF’s ‘Caring for Our Caregivers Programme’.
