Job Responsibilities

  • Liaise with HNF panel of General Practitioners (GP) on Home Medical services which include but not limited to:
    • Secure appointment with GPs on home medical referral / services
    • Create visit logs in IHCS for home medical cases
    • Collect and reconcile payment from GPs on monthly / weekly basis
    • Call patients to inform them of their Home Medical appointments and seek their confirmation.
    • Data entry for in doctors’ schedule, database and create WFO appointments.
  • Performs administrative work for the Home Therapy service, which may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
    • Conducts admission process for new Home Therapy patients by explaining the service contract and providing basic financial counselling
    • Calls patients to confirm their therapy appointments on a daily basis
    • Monitors utilisation of the physiotherapists’ and occupational therapist’s appointment slots
    • Provides basic care coordination by creating internal referrals in IRMS within HNF’s services
    • Facilitates Assistive Technology Fund (ATF) applications, which include liaising with patients, therapists, vendors, and the fund administrators
  • Performs the necessary administrative work under the Disability Assessment procedure, which may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
    • Assists patients with the application of disability assessments
    • Maintains an Excel database of patients that have received disability assessments
    • Verifies that all scheduled assessments have been performed by the assigned clinical staff every month
    • Reconciles the reimbursement received MOH with the number of assessments done every month
  • Assists with the creation of self-referrals and internal referrals, which may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
    • Calls potential clients to obtain the necessary information to create self-referrals in IRMS
    • Creates internal referrals in IRMS using information provided by the clinicians
    • Handles queries by AIC regarding any self-referral or internal referral submissions
  • Supports the Tele Home Care service administratively, which may include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
    • Calls suitable patients to obtain consent for the conducting of Tele Home Care sessions via a video consultation platform, explaining more about the service whenever necessary
    • Explains the service to patients whenever necessary, and facilitates the signing of the service contracts by the agreeable patients
    • Conducts trial video calls with patients that have agreed to Tele Home Care sessions
    • Schedules Tele Home Care sessions for the clinicians
  • Assists with admin duties with regards to new initiatives and national projects as and when required.
  • Rotates to other administrative services such as call centre and surgical store to undertake any other duties as requested by the reporting officer
  • Any other related duties as directed by the said reporting officer.

 

Job Requirements

  • GCE ‘O’ / ‘A’ Levels or Diploma
  • Min 1 year experience in administrative work. Working experience in Healthcare industry will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess good telephone etiquette and positive attitude
  • Ability to multi-task, friendly and responsible for tasks entrusted
  • Meticulous with attention to detail
